The following are the systems within the Ryu that I have been exposed to. I KNOW there is a lot more but I have either not seen them or been taught them. (That is why some are listed as "5 of 9" as I have been taught only 5 of the 9) There is also a lot more that I have not seen. However, It is my intent to cover all in our dojo. They are: Goyo (5 Techniques) Goin (5 Techniques) Kuyo no Kata (11 Techniques) Kage no Kuyo (5 of 9 Techniques) Kempo (5 of 14 Techniques) Kogusoku (10 of 10 techniques) Kumi Iai (9 of 9 Techniques) Tachi Iai (12 Techniques) Kage no Tachi (9 Techniques) Wakizashi (13 of 13 techniques) Jojutsu (16 of 16 techniques) 4 "unassigned" techniques That is 99 kata! And there is still at least 350 more. So, here is the intended weapon of study for the evening.
