------------------------------------------------------------------ The objective at the Suio Ryu's Bu Rai An Dojo, a shibu of the Suio Ryu®, as recognized by Soke Katsuse Yoshimtsu Kagehiro, is to foster training in and follow the teachings of this 400 year-oldJapanese sogo bujutsu, in a manner similar to that as would be found at the honbu of the Suio Ryu®, the Hekiunkan, Shimizu, Japan. Training Schedule and Location: Unitl June 28, 2006 - Wednesdays, 7:30PM to 11:00PM, The Center for Martial Arts, 2210A Encinitas Blvd., Encinitas, CA Starting June 29, 2006 at "The Keikoba," 4725 Dunham Court, San Diego, CA 92130 Click on the "Directions to Class" Button Below Sunday Classes are held from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Judo dojo located at: 3350 Sports Arena Blvd #H2, San Diego, CA 92110 Study Group Fees Our monthly fees are currently $60.00 per month. Entry into the school is very limited. New studtents may apply at the beginning of each quarter and try it for two weeks. Should they be invited to continue an additional one time fee of $200.00 will be assessed, $100.00 for students. Uniform and Equipment Below is a list of the basic uniform and equipment that you will need: Keiko gi and hakama of the same color, iaito (unsharpened japanese practice sword), and a Bokken with saya. Sources for uniforms and equipment are available upon request. No prior martial arts experience is required to begin your studies of the samurai sword. We do ask that you be serious and committed in your study and training The best way to find out if this training is for you is to visit the group and introduce yourself, observe a few classes, and talk to the students regarding any questions you may have.
